WHAT IS NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING (NLP)?

N - neuro

relating to our nervous system that regulates how our bodies function through visual, auditory, kinetic, olfactory, or gustatory senses.

L - linguistic

pertaining to the way our language affects our perception of the world, and how it creates behaviours.

P - programming

refers to the notion that the neural pathways are programmed to work in predictable ways according to the models of the world we create.

NLP considers the connections between how we think (neuro), how we communicate, (linguistic) and
how we pattern our behaviours (programming).

The combination of these components allow a person to “navigate their own ship” by asking HOW questions to find solutions, as opposed to WHY there is a problem.
This is valuable when we think about our own values and beliefs and how we create our
states from our experiences, and how we give it our own meaning.

A collection of tools and techniques are used to REFRAME the mind to empower CHANGE. The use of NLP enhances self discovery by exploring identity and mission with wisdom and vision.
